Eminem’s fans are now realizing that the rapper threw a sharp jab at Sean “Diddy” Combs months before Diddy’s recent arrest for sex trafficking. This revelation came as Combs, 54, faced charges of trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution after being arrested at the Park Hyatt hotel in New York.
In June, Eminem dropped a track titled Fuel, where he subtly hinted at sexual assault allegations against Diddy. The clever wordplay in the song turned ‘essay’ into ‘SA’—shorthand for sexual assault—before misspelling ‘rapper’ as ‘raper.’ The line, “Wait, he didn’t just spell the word, ‘Rapper’ and leave out a P, did he? (Yep),” sent shockwaves through the music world when fans caught on.
Eminem didn’t stop there. He also referenced the mysterious deaths of two rap icons—Notorious B.I.G., who was Diddy’s close friend, and Tupac Shakur. Both murders remain unsolved. The lyrics go:
“R.I.P., rest in peace, Biggie
And Pac, both of y’all should be living (yep)
But I ain’t tryna beef with him (nope)
‘Cause he might put a hit on me like, ‘Keefe D, get him’
And that’s the only way you’re gonna be killing me (nah).” Watch Video Below
Fans praised Eminem for his foresight, and now, with Diddy’s arrest, the song is gaining fresh attention. Social media users have been buzzing about how the diss track seems to have predicted recent events. One person on X (formerly Twitter) said, “Fuel is going crazy viral cuz of them Diddy lines damn. Eminem ahead of the curve.”
Diddy’s legal situation became public last week when he was charged with a string of sex crimes. He denies the allegations and plans to fight the charges in court. A judge denied his bail request, so Diddy remains in custody until his trial.
The indictment against Diddy paints a dark picture, accusing him of using his power and wealth to coerce and manipulate people around him for his sexual gratification. Prosecutors also referenced an incident where Diddy was seen on video chasing his ex, Cassie Ventura, down a hotel hallway and attacking her—footage that was first reported earlier in the year.
Before Diddy’s arrest, speculation was rife that he would end up in legal trouble. His case reached a tipping point on September 17, when he was charged with three federal counts, including sex trafficking. These charges stem from accusations that he forced people to participate in drug-fueled sex parties, which he referred to as “Freak Offs.”
Just hours before his arrest, The U.S. Sun reported that investigators working on Diddy’s case were collaborating with prosecutors in the Tupac Shakur murder investigation due to suspected gangland activities.
In addition to the federal charges, Diddy is also entangled in several lawsuits. He recently settled one with his ex, Cassie, after she accused him of rape and abuse. In one particularly disturbing case from 2016, video footage showed Diddy physically attacking Cassie in a hotel hallway.
Earlier this year, in March, federal agents raided two of Diddy’s mansions, where they seized AR-15s, drugs, and a thousand bottles of lubricant used in his “Freak Off” parties.

If Diddy is convicted on all charges, he could face up to 45 years in prison. The racketeering charge carries a 20-year maximum sentence, while the sex trafficking charge could add 15 years, and another charge could result in an additional 10 years behind bars.
His legal battles are far from over. Even though his legal team is fighting for bail, prosecutors argue that Diddy is a danger to the community and should remain in custody. Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson said, “Mr. Combs physically and sexually abused victims for decades… He is a serial abuser and a serial constructor.”
With such serious accusations and mounting evidence, Diddy’s future in both the music industry and in court seems uncertain. His arrest may just be the beginning of a lengthy legal process that could change the course of his life forever.
