A unique Flamin’ Hot Cheeto mimicking the popular Pokémon Charizard sold for an incredible $87,840 at auction, highlighting once again the value of novelty collectibles.
The snack was sold by Goldin, a renowned auction firm that specializes in rare collectibles. According to the official listing, the unique-shaped Cheeto was “affixed to a customized Pokémon card and encapsulated in a clear card storage box.”
1st & Goal Collectibles discovered and maintained the Cheeto, known as the “Cheetozard,” between 2018 and 2022. It got extensive exposure on social media in late 2024, increasing its appeal to collectors.

The auction generated a lot of attention, with 60 offers put before the final hammer fell. The winning price was $72,000, with an extra buyer’s premium totaling $87,840.
