Rumors have been circulating on social media lately regarding some musicians, such as Usher and Pink, removing their posts following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent arrest. Rumor had it that these omissions were an attempt to break any link to Combs’ current legal troubles.
Pink, however, has firmly denied these allegations. Taking to her Instagram and Facebook, she clarified that she had not deleted her tweets recently, stating, “I don’t know why my name is in the headlines, but I deleted my Twitter account on February 6!” She emphasized, “There’s no truth to these rumors, and although I’ve met people in passing, I am not associated with any of the individuals mentioned.”
To support her statement, Pink shared a screenshot of her final tweet before deactivating her account. The tweet, dated February 6, read, “This account will self-destruct in two minutes. Do it!!!!!!”
There are a lot of theories out there that claim celebrities are trying to distance themselves from Combs following his arrest on severe accusations like as racketeering and sex trafficking.
Usher, who has worked with Combs in the past, was also connected to the incident when people saw that his tweets had been removed. But Usher dispelled the allegations fast, saying that the news was exaggerated and that his account had been compromised.
