Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is now facing serious federal sex crime charges will remain in custody as bail has been denied.
On September 17, 2024, a federal judge in New York ordered Combs to remain in jail without bail. The Bad Boy Records owner faces allegations of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution, according to a federal affidavit.
Combs’ legal team proposed a $50 million bail package to secure his release, but the judge denied it. The package included a $50,000 bond, which was insufficient to persuade the court in Combs’ favor.
At the hearing, the prosecution presented disturbing fresh details. They said that on Monday, September 16th, when Combs was arrested, drugs were found in the hotel room.
