The Broward County Sheriff’s Office has released the identities of three victims allegedly killed by Nathan Gingles, 43, who was found with his 4-year-old daughter at a Walmart store shortly after the tragic incident.
The victims include his estranged wife, Mary Catherine Gingles, 34; her father, David Pozner, 64; and a neighbor, Andrew Ferrin, 36.
Authorities say the shootings occurred on the morning of February 16 at Mary Gingles’ residence in Tamarac, Florida. According to a press release from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, David Pozner was discovered dead on the back patio, still clutching the handle of a broken coffee mug.
Detective Lacey Henry detailed in an arrest warrant that Pozner was allegedly shot in the head while drinking coffee.
The crime scene revealed further tragedy as Mary Gingles’ body was found at Ferrin’s home, where he was also discovered dead. Surveillance footage from the neighborhood showed Mary Gingles running toward Ferrin’s house after her father was shot, seeking help.
Video obtained by local ABC affiliate WPLG captured multiple gunshots followed by a woman’s screams. The footage also allegedly shows Nathan Gingles walking on the sidewalk with his 4-year-old daughter following behind, as they trailed Mary Gingles to Ferrin’s residence. Watch below.
Authorities believe the child witnessed all three murders. Court records indicate that Nathan and Mary Gingles were undergoing a contentious divorce marked by several incidents of domestic violence.

At the time of her death, Mary Gingles had an active protection order against Nathan, which he was charged with violating. Investigators found the domestic violence injunction document in the kitchen along with multiple gun lockboxes.
Mary Gingles had expressed fear of her estranged husband in court documents. In one handwritten statement, she wrote that Nathan once “sang that he was going to shoot me and there was nothing I could do about it.” Her victim’s statement further revealed, “Because of Nathan’s psychotic behavior, his multiple threats, his drug use, his multiple/many silenced firearms, and my impending divorce action, I am afraid Nathan will kill me and my daughter.”
Following the shooting, an Amber Alert was issued for the couple’s daughter, who was later found unharmed with her father. Nathan Gingles is currently in custody and faces multiple charges, including three counts of murder while the investigation is ongoing.
