Nina Thomas, the estranged wife of former Seattle Seahawks star Earl Thomas, is facing serious criminal charges after federal prosecutors accused her of orchestrating a scheme to defraud her husband out of millions of dollars.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the alleged fraudulent activities began in September 2021, following Nina’s filing for divorce in 2020.
Prosecutors claim Nina, along with an unnamed accomplice, transferred substantial amounts of money and property from Earl Thomas into accounts they controlled, without his knowledge or consent.
The documents reveal that Nina and her co-conspirator illegally obtained over $2.7 million from Earl.
The stolen funds were reportedly spent on personal expenses, including cosmetic surgery and luxury items such as a Hermes Birkin handbag.
An arrest warrant for Nina was issued on December 13, and she was taken into custody on December 16.
Although she was released afterward, Nina now faces multiple charges, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, and aggravated identity theft.

Earl and Nina were married in a high-profile ceremony in April 2016, which included appearances from celebrities like Russell Wilson and Ciara.
However, their marriage ended in controversy after allegations surfaced that Nina had held a loaded gun near Earl’s head during an incident related to infidelity.
Despite her arrest, Nina, who now works as a real estate agent, has remained active on Instagram but has not publicly addressed the charges against her.
