Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new lawsuit from a woman named Thalia Graves, who has accused him of raping her in 2001. Graves claims that Combs and his head of security, Joseph Sherman, invited her to the Bad Boy Records studio in New York City, where they allegedly assaulted her.
At the time, Graves was 25 years old and dating one of Combs’ employees. She says that Combs asked her to meet him at the studio, but when she arrived, things took a dark turn. She claims the two men cornered her and gave her a drink that was likely spiked with drugs, causing her to briefly lose consciousness.
When she woke up, she found herself tied up and restrained. According to the lawsuit, both Combs and Sherman then raped her. This assault left Graves severely traumatized. Over the years, she has struggled with depression, anxiety, and panic attacks, seeking therapy to cope with what happened.
Graves did not report the incident at the time because she says Combs threatened her, making her fear for her safety. She also claims that in November 2023, she discovered that Combs and Sherman had recorded the assault and shown the video to other men to humiliate her.
This is not the first time Combs has faced such accusations. Graves’ lawsuit is the ninth sexual assault claim against him in the past year. The first major case came in November 2023, when his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura accused him of rape and physical abuse during their ten-year relationship. Although that case was settled quickly, a video later emerged showing Combs hitting Ventura, backing up some of her claims.
Graves’ case was filed just one week after Combs was arrested on charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering. These new developments continue to add to the legal troubles surrounding the rapper as more people come forward with accusations. The situation is still unfolding, and it’s uncertain how the courts will handle these claims and whether more evidence will emerge.
