Legal troubles for Sean “Diddy” Combs continue to grow as an attorney has announced that 120 people have come forward with accusations of sexual misconduct against the hip-hop mogul.
On Tuesday, Houston attorney Tony Buzbee revealed that the group of alleged victims includes 60 males and 60 females, with 25 of them being minors at the time of the incidents. He expects lawsuits to be filed within the next month.
Following the announcement, Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolff, responded, stating that the accusations are baseless and part of a “reckless media circus.” She emphasized that Combs denies the claims and looks forward to proving his innocence in court once the cases are officially filed.
Combs, 54, has been in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since pleading not guilty to charges related to sex trafficking.
He is accused of using his power and influence to involve women in drugged sexual acts, referred to as “Freak Offs,” which allegedly involved male sex workers.
Buzbee, who has previously represented women accusing NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault, will be handling these new allegations against Combs. Other lawsuits related to sexual assault have already been filed against the music executive.
Despite these serious accusations, Combs maintains his innocence. He faces charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, and his legal team is preparing to defend him in court.
