A Catholic nursery teacher in Italy has been dismissed from her position after parents of her students recognized her in provocative photos on an online subscription platform.
Elena Maraga, 29, who worked at a Catholic nursery in Treviso, was suspended and later terminated after a concerned parent reported her profile to school officials.

Despite her five-year tenure as an educator, the discovery led to an internal investigation by the institution, ultimately costing her the job.
Maraga expressed deep disappointment over the abrupt decision and its potential impact on her students.
“I see nothing wrong with embracing one’s own femininity and sensuality,” she stated, defending her choice to create content on the platform.

Maraga, who has amassed over 16,000 Instagram followers, started her OnlyFans account just a month ago. She quickly gained popularity, revealing in a local interview that her earnings from the platform far exceeded her teaching salary.
“I opened OF a month ago, a little bit for fun, but also out of curiosity and to see if it would earn me money. I posted some photos, and the profile exploded—in one day, I can get a month’s salary,” she shared.
According to Maraga, a parent of one of her students recognized her from her profile picture and reported it to the school. The revelation spread through local mothers’ Facebook groups, dividing opinions within the community.
“There are some mums who want to support me and want me to keep teaching their children,” she noted.
While Maraga enjoyed teaching, she now believes she won’t return to the profession. Instead, she has begun studying to become a personal trainer—a field she believes offers greater freedom.

In addition to her online success, she is an accomplished bodybuilder who has competed and won various competitions. She sees her transition to fitness coaching as an opportunity to pursue a career without the restrictions imposed by traditional teaching roles.

Despite the controversy, Maraga remains firm in her stance, emphasizing that personal choices should not define professional abilities.
Her story has sparked broader discussions on privacy, workplace ethics, and the evolving boundaries between personal and professional lives in the digital age.
