The recent arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs on Monday, September 16, has generated a lot of interest in the entertainment industry. Rapper 50 Cent didn’t hesitate to weigh in, while other celebs have stayed silent in waiting for further information to come to light.
Giiving his long-standing dispute with Diddy 50 Cent took to Instagram to mock Combs following a key revelation from U.S. Attorney Damian Williams regarding the evidence used in the arrest. One specific detail grabbed 50 Cent’s attention: over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and personal lubricant were reportedly seized, supposedly linked to Combs’ infamous “Freak Off” parties.
Never one to give up a chance to make jokes, 50 Cent posted a funny joke regarding unusual evidence. He posted a picture of himself with talk show presenter and actress Drew Barrymore on social media, writing, “Here I am keeping good company with @thedrewbarrymoreshow and I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube at the house.” The jab was clearly aimed at Diddy’s legal woes, with 50 Cent making light of the situation.
The mention of the baby oil and lube was tied to allegations that these items were used during Diddy’s private parties. Williams stated that Diddy’s staff allegedly stocked hotel rooms with these products, seizing “cases and cases” of them during the investigation. The fact that over 1,000 bottles were found is what gave 50 Cent the perfect setup for his mocking post.
“They seized cases and cases of the kinds of personal lubricant and baby oil that Combs staff allegedly used to stock hotel rooms for the freak offs, more than 1000 bottles altogether.”
Given that he will soon be releasing a documentary titled Diddy Do It? that will document the various accusations made against Combs, 50 Cent has no difficulty condemning Puff Daddy for his purportedly wicked behavior.
The doc was sold to Netflix following a bidding war, and will likely be updated with this week’s events before being released on the massive streamer.
Combs was taken into custody on Monday in New York City on charges of conspiring to participate in racketeering, sex trafficking by fraud, or force, and providing transportation for prostitution.
This adds up to the rapper’s ongoing battle, the rapper, Just last week on September 11, Dawn Richard, a participant on MTV’s “Making the Band” and a longtime member of Combs’ groups, filed a new lawsuit against the rapper claiming years of harassment and abuse under “inhumane working conditions.”
