2024 3Music Awards Nominees List

The candidates for the forthcoming 2024 3Music Awards have been revealed, and the announcement was nothing short of fantastic. The thrilling Announcement Party was held at the stylish Garage Bar & Lounge in East Legon, drawing a star-studded audience.

Notable performers who attended the event were Mr. Drew, Chief One, Keche, Lyrical Joe, D-Cryme, and Cina Soul, among others.

Since its establishment in 2018, the 3Music Awards has established itself as Ghana’s most prominent yearly music awards program.

The award scheme acknowledges and honors great achievements in the music industry, highlighting the talent and dedication of artists, producers, directors, and other significant industry figures. This year, the anticipation is greater than ever, as the 2024 nominees bring a blend of veteran

Kuami Eugene, a Lynx Entertainment singer and composer, leads the race in the 2024 awards with nine nominations. 1Gad, also known as Stonebwoy, comes in second with 12 nominations. King Promise also stands out with eight nominations, making him the third most-nominated artist of the year.

The “Artiste (MVP) of the Year” category is a heated competition between Black Sherif, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, Mr. Drew, Nacee, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy. Fans are particularly curious by Shatta Wale’s exclusion from this category, which has sparked conversations across social media channels.

As the 3Music Awards prepare for their September 2024 ceremony, the enthusiasm grows. Although a precise date has not yet been announced, the release of the nominations has significantly heightened anticipation.
